Sherlock Holmes – Book Covers

This project was a part of the course Editorial Design II at NTNU spring 2020, with Aud Gloppen as our course coordinator. I chose the four crime novels about Sherlock Holmes, translated into Norwegian;

En Studie i Rødt (A Study in Scarlet)
De Fires Tegn (The Sign of Four)
Hunden fra Baskerville (The Hound of the Baskervilles)
Fryktens Dal (The Valley of Fear)

The covers have illustrations inspired by silhouettes and inks which hints at the content of each book. For this series I also went into more detail for the materials as that would be an important element.
